Amanda Turner

Litigation Executive

Amanda qualified as a solicitor in January 2026, having been a member of the team at Girlings Personal Injury Claims since 2019. She has previously worked as a Fellow of the Association of Costs Draftsman from 2007 and then as a qualified costs lawyer from 2011, dealing predominantly with clinical negligence costs during this period.

After making the decision to explore an alternative career path from costs, Amanda joined the team here at Girlings in 2019. In view of her previous experience, she had gained a good understanding of the law and the court process. She initially assisted both the personal injury and clinical negligence departments, before commencing her role as a Litigation Executive in the clinical negligence department and then qualifying as a solicitor.

Amanda’s caseload includes a variety of clinical negligence matters including claims relating to delayed cancer diagnosis, infant death along with orthopaedic and gynaecological injuries.

Amanda continues to practice as a Costs Lawyer and assists the team in relation to costs issues where necessary.
